QPAC A320 Simulation at H2 Expo

QPAC Emergency Power System at H2 Expo

We are actually presenting our Emergency Power System at H2 Expo in hall B6 Stand 205 at our Partner balticFuel Cell. For further impressions, please check ourĀ Facebook Album.

The Fuel Cell based Emergency Power System demonstrator is interfaced with the QPAC A320 X-plane plugin to create a "hardware in the loop" simulation. When the aircraft simulation experiences complete power loss due to an emergency, the simulation sends a signal to the Raspberry Pi based interface controller which enables the SuSy300 Fuel Cell system. The SuSy300 system provides a stable electrical output (600 W) in under 3 seconds. This data is fed back to the simulator which allows the control surfaces to be operated in an emergency mode, thus completing the hardware-simulation coupling.
